The EPUB lets you adjust text size in a reading app. The illustrated PDF keeps the designed pages, so you may need to zoom on a phone.

Both formats are included with each confirmed book purchase. The free first chapters also offer PDF and EPUB.

IPHONE OR IPAD · EPUB

Read in your Books app (EPUB)

Choose Read in your Books app (EPUB) for your book, then tap the protected EPUB download link.
Open Files and find the EPUB in Downloads. Downloads are usually in iCloud Drive; your browser may use another folder.
Tap the EPUB to open it in Books. If it opens elsewhere, touch and hold the file, choose Open With, then Books if available.

You can change text size in your reading app. Try the free chapter in your preferred app before choosing how to read the complete book.

Download the illustrated PDF

Choose Download the illustrated PDF, then tap the protected PDF download link.
Open the PDF from Files. On iPhone or iPad, tap Share, then choose Books. You may need to swipe through the app icons.
Keep it in Books, or read it in a PDF app you prefer. The page numbers in the contents can help you find a chapter if your preview app does not follow the links.

The PDF has a fixed illustrated layout. Changing the app’s text-size setting does not reflow its pages; zoom if you need a closer view.

KINDLE · SEND YOUR EPUB

Take the story to Kindle

Download the EPUB from your book’s protected download link.
Open Amazon Send to Kindle, sign in to your Amazon account and upload the EPUB.
Keep Add to your library turned on. After Amazon processes the file, open your Kindle library to find it.

Amazon accepts EPUB uploads through Send to Kindle. Amazon processes the EPUB before it appears in your library; allow time for that step.

Download both

Choose Download both, then download the PDF and EPUB files separately. Open the one that suits your device.

For an earlier purchase, return to your books in the browser you used to buy it. When recovery is available, your saved guest recovery code can restore your books in another browser; a purchase email code restores only its own order. If you follow a format link in a purchase email, confirm the link, then choose your download.
